When your sweet tooth and savory cravings are going head-to-head, treat yourself to a Cacao70 brunch.
Now that Joe and I are parents, we find ourselves getting up really early in the morning. I was always an early riser (even as a child), but this habit is very new for Joe.
A few Sundays ago, Joe and I were craving our favorite chocolate spot, Cacao70. In the wee hours of the morning, we headed downtown in hopes to satisfy our sweet tooth.
We were one of the firsts to arrive and what caught our interest was the Cacao70 brunch portion of the menu. Sure, we originally visited for a chocolate treat but their brunch items seemed to have the best of both worlds.
I dug into a generous plate of eggs. Baked in the oven and served in a cast-iron skillet, flavors of tomato, spinach, onion and feta fused together to offer an impeccable vegetable frittata. Of course, I couldn’t go without some chocolate. Luckily for me, all of Cacao70’s brunch meals are served with fresh fruit and melted chocolate as a starter.
There’s nothing like a great brunch spot! My favorite place here is called Another Broken Egg. Brunch is my favorite meal of the day because I can get something sweet and savory.
The Cacoa 70 looks like an amazing location for a brunch! I love the sweet and savory and you can never go wrong with chocolate and fruit. I would love this as a location for a Sunday brunch 🙂
I’m almost certain that if we had a Cacao70 in our town, I’d be visiting it every other day … okay every day. Everything you’ve shared looks incredible. I might even keep it a secret from the family…
There is something so fun and special about a brunch. I would love to try the cacao 70 brunch. Fresh fruit is always a staple in my breakfast and brunch meals. I also love the idea of a great cappucino. That melted chocolate cup is perfection!
The food looks so delectable! It seems like you had the perfect breakfast! I love the fruits with chocolate dip!

I would love to check out this place. Sounds like a nice place to have a beautiful breakfast date. The dishes look so good. The pineapple looks so fresh.
Brunch is literally my favorite meal! You can never go wrong when you can get great brunch food while also satisfying your sweet tooth. We have a restaurant similar to this one here in the Washington DC area and it’s one of my go-to spots for brunch & sweets.
Oh my goodness! That looks amazing! That vegetable frittata looks like something I could dive into!
All of this looks divine! Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, in fact, I eat it at all hours of the day! I good frittata or vegan mash always makes the cut, and of course, homemade espresso!
Oh their stuff looks just delightful. Brunch is my favorite meal of the day LOL! I used to go all the time in San Diego. I even have a shirt about brunch! I live in a much smaller town now, so there aren’t as many spots, but you’ve inspired me to drive a bit and indulge with the hubs this weekend.
