Stepping Into Spring with Robeez Mini Shoez

Spring has sprung and there’s a spring in Leo’s step. Now that he’s walking (and waddling), Robeez Mini Shoez are exactly what we need.

This post is in partnership with Robeez.

I remember when I first discovered the Robeez brand. I was in college and worked a few hours a week at a bookstore that sold them. I was no where near getting married nor growing a family. But the moment I saw the footwear packaged in their little boxes I thought: “As soon as I’m expecting, I am so getting these shoes.”

Years down the line, I kept that promise.

I love that the Robeez brand grows with your child. Leo went through so many pairs of Robeez through infancy (and because of their elasticized back, none fell off his feet… none!). Now that he’s learning to walk, Robeez Mini Shoez were something we just bought without second-thought.

Put on my Shoes, Ma!
First off, they are so easy to put on: and with a wiggly toddler, this means everything.

Strong Out-Soles
I also love their outsoles. They are more shoe-like and offer a non-skid, non-slip walking experience. (Trust me, slipping and skidding happen a lot with this little guy).

Materials
I naturally gravitated towards Robeez because of their premium quality leather. I am ensured that the shoes will never feel uncomfortable for Leo and can even last through “hand-me-downs.”

And so we headed to the park to test out our newest Mini Shoez. They were a perfect fit and Leo waltzed through that park as if he owned it!

How old was your little one when they started walking? What kind of shoes did you use for this milestone?

  1. I love seeing baby shoes and how little they are. Good to start their feet off right with a good pair of shoes.

  2. These are the cutest shoes! I’ve always liked Robeez. My kids were a little over a year when they started walking. They really liked being carried.

  3. I have always liked their products! When my kiddo was little these are the shoes that I loved putting on him. These look a whole lot cooler than the ones I had when my kiddo was little. I’m going to tell my sister-in-law about this because she has two little ones that would be perfect for the shoes.

  4. First of all let’s just talk about how cute your little one is. Absolutely adorable and his shoes are so cute. My youngest started walking at 9 mos. and his twin brother started walking about a week before he turned 1.

  5. I was so proud when my daughter walked at 11 months and of course I don’t remember when the second child walked on his own. I have a lot of nieces and nephews that would look great in these shoes.

  6. It’s so nice that you found a great pair of shoes for the little one! I think it’s the perfect support for those just learning how to move around. I like the fit!

  7. I always loved these and used them with my 8-year old when he started walking. I need to get my 11-month old a pair now! Great reminder.

  8. Love those shoes Lisa. Really cute and practical. Bonnie walked just before her 1st Birthday and Jessica at around 10 months (having a big sister helping you along makes things move a bit quicker). 😊 We always chose a very good sturdy shoe that would support our children’s feet. We’ve tried many different brands, and they were all no-skid and no-slip. Always a must when learning to walk. ♥️ Great Blog Lisa.

  9. Those are absolutely adorable. I’ve heard really good things about this brand too so I would trust them for shoes for my grandson when he’s ready to start walking.
