A tasty list of all the must-try Disney foods. Come on, your Mickey waffles await!

As we prepared for our trip to Disney World (Leo’s first time!), we made a set itinerary for every day of the week. We chose which day to visit which park, booked our FastPasses in advance, and made reservations according to our dining plan.

And the food. Ah yes, all the Disney foods. Don’t forget to make your list of must-eat foods, too!

8 Must-Try Disney Foods for Your Next Disney Trip

Dole Whip
If you haven’t tried a Dole Whip before, this is one treat you can’t afford to pass up. It’s a soft-serve pineapple dream that’ll cool you down even on the hottest of summer days. Hop in line at Aloha Isle in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom for a chance to try one for yourself.

The Grey Stuff
Lumière telling Belle to “try the grey stuff – it’s delicious!” is a lyric that will be embossed in our Disney brains forever (and I bet you have it stuck in your head now). You can try “the grey stuff” at the Be Our Guest restaurant located in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom. The color of this dessert might not be the most appealing, but one taste is all it takes to change your mind!

Mickey Waffles
I didn’t think I’d cave, but on our most recent trip, I helped myself to a full-on Mickey waffle breakfast: Every. Single. Morning. Best known as the Bounty Platter at the POP Century Resort, this plate is filled with Mickey-shaped waffles, bacon, biscuits, and potatoes. (I’ll grab your drool bib now).

Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich
This one ‘s my all-time fave. I’ve always been one for ice cream sandwiches and Disney surely hasn’t let me down for my favourite snack. Lucky for me, Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich is offered in all of their parks. My sweet tooth is forever grateful.

Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken
Love chicken? You’re in luck. Stop by the retro-style 50’s Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios for an old-fashioned down-home meal you won’t soon forget. Load up on the sides and don’t skip on the milkshake when you’re finished!

Turkey Leg
Don’t pass up the opportunity to devour a tasty turkey leg as you explore the most magical place on Earth. Pick one up at the Tortuga Tavern (or elsewhere across the Disney parks) and dig in!

Fish and Chips
Stop by the Rose & Crown, a British pub style restaurant found in Epcot. While the whole menu is filled with delicious bites, the fish and chips are the real deal. It’s served with all the condiments and dipping sauces you could need to please your palate.

German Pretzel
If you’re craving a snack in Epcot, pay Germany a visit and pick up one of their giant pretzels. This quintessential theme park treat is exactly what a pretzel should be – bready, perfectly salted and with just the right bite.

The Night Blossom
Craving some color, some sweetness, and perhaps a good Instagram photo opp? The Night Blossom drink from Disney’s Pandora section can help out with that!
