How To Make An Easy Blackberry Lime Mocktail

I get parched quite easily. I’m always in the mood for a glass of water (which I usually keep by my side, in this super cute tumbler) but sometimes, plain ol’ H20 doesn’t cut it. I often like to mix my own drinks with simple ingredients that I usually have in my fridge and/or freezer.

How To Turn It Into An Alcoholic Cocktail

To make this alcoholic, just add a shot of your favorite liquor. I think either vodka or rum will taste the best with this combination of flavors.

Use Different Flavors

Making mocktails isn’t hard at all. I like to go as simple as possible, using only about two major flavor profiles as the mocktail’s main ingredients.

For example, you could also do a strawberry lime mocktail and smash the strawberries instead of the blackberries.

It’s fun thinking of flavor ideas. I turn to classic desserts to help inspire my homemade beverages. Believe it or not, a lot of classic pies (think, coconut key-lime pie) can help stir-up lots of great ideas for your drinks’ flavor pairings.

Don’t Forget The Ice

This mocktail tastes best when it is nice and cold – so don’t forget the ice! You could even make it a slushie if you blend the ingredients together with a lot of ice in a blender. Yum!

Mocktails for Entertaining

When I’m hosting guests, I always like to have alcoholic and non-alcoholic options to serve. This fizzy beverage is even great for kiddos! It gives them the fun of fizzle and bubbles, but isn’t as sugary as a soda!
